The agreement effectively ties Brady to the Buccaneers until 2022.
Similarly, ESPN also reported that linebacker Lavonte David was re-signed with a 2-year extension.
David recently spoke to the press, to express his joy at the notion of Brady staying on top of the Bucs: “Tom is one of those guys who understands that it takes a whole village to win football games. And I’ll do what I can, do what it takes to hopefully get everybody back and go do this thing again… The bond that we had, the bond that we shared this year — it was like no other.”
