Rent a Sportsbook Bookie Software Review

GOOD INTENTIONS do NOT always translate into GOOD RESULTS.

Putting together a good pay per head platform is not as easy as it sounds. From setting up a basic website, to ensuring the quality of the software and the management tools, every aspect related to the development of a ‘decent’, functional and – yet – attractive PPH shop takes a lot more than your good dose of thoughtfulness and hard work.

Struggling between the difficult polar sides of wishing and becoming, RentASportsbook features all the energy, good branding and all those sweet lovey intentions of a great Pay Per Head idea, plus, all the sad downsides of a company that can’t quite yet take off from the ground.

As a middling set of unproven pay-per-head products platform, with all the expected gizmos and typical working tools, RentASportsbook falls short next to simpler and less boastful competitors, and earns a poor 38 rating from DrPayPerHead’s experts.

PPH REVIEW DETAILS

Price 5/15 Points

Some pay per head providers take pleasure in talking about their costs, oftentimes going to the extra mile of defining the varying costs of their pph packages from the get-go, others choose not to say anything at all, and to leave it to the ‘potential’ agent to ask for a quote via quick message or form. RentASportsbook falls in the latter category: Not a single mention of any running costs or special package deals.

Promos 1/10 Points

There doesn’t seem to be a single mention of any running promotions – or free trials – for new sign-ups to RentAsportsbook.com. Instead, you’re expected to fill out a simple ‘registration’ form and wait for the reps to get back to you… Or so we hope. There’s also the possibility they haven’t come up with any promos yet, as their website looks still relatively incomplete. Take it with a massive grain of salt!

Agent Admin 5/15 Points

We couldn’t really find any useful information regarding to RentASportsbook’s management software for pay per head agents. All we DID find was some stuff – via their Products page – regarding LIVE betting and In-Game odds, casino games, horses software and other typical action products for players. There wasn’t even a single ‘screenshot’ of any of the available agent tools, nor any hint of a desirable test-trial mode for interested buyers.

Sportsbook 7/15 Points

RentASportsbook’ sports material looked pretty normal from the pictures we found at their products page. They appear to have all the classic sports betting categories offered by the rest of the competition, and there are some mentions of LIVE and In-Game odds as well. Nothing “sexy” enough to entice us.

Casino 6/10 Points

Casino was the ONE thing we were able to find out the most about: They have virtual games (Slots, Blackjack, Video Poker and the such), Bingo and some Live table versions of BJ, Roulette and Baccarat. In terms of game quality, RentASportsbook’s collection looks rather bleak, with some generally unliked Amigo Software virtual-casino titles. Watch Out!

Horses 3/5 Points

Only two paragraphs were dedicated to horse racing at RentASportsbook, and they hardly said anything about horses to begin with. They claim to have a variety of “international” venues, as well as greyhound racing, but so does everyone else in the world of Pay per Head.

On the other hand, according to a couple of pictures we also found at their products page, RentASportsbook’s horse-betting platform looks fairly simple and easy to browse.

Call Center 3/10 Points

Digging up for ‘company info’ is nearly impossible at RentAsportsbook.com. You won’t find anything about their location, their running team or any previous and valid accreditations, whether by regulating entities, game developers or software providers. All we did find was, 1- The Sign-Up form nearly posted everywhere, 2- A phone number (866 996-8176) and a Gmail address ([email protected]).

There’s also the ubiquitous LIVE Chat button at the lower-right end of the screen, but we didn’t get a reply during the brief time we took making this review.

Payment Methods 1/5 Points

Take a Wild Guess, because that is ALL you’re getting at RentASportsbook.

The page dedicated to “Payment Methods” is completely empty, apart from a single one-liner mentioning Bitcoin as one of their accepted deposit/payout options.

As elsewhere on their website, there’s only a registration form available therein, for you to enter all your questions about transactional mechanisms.

Mobile Friendliness 7/15 Points

RentASportsbook claims to be mobile friendly all-around, though the exact extent of their “portability” qualities is unknown to us. They did say – maybe once or twice – that their virtual casino games can be played from your “desktop, tablet or mobile device”

If you get to test their ‘mobile’ casino experience, please make sure to let us know!
