RDG Corp Bookie Software Review

Let’s get started with the “meaty” stuff.

The folks at RDGCorp.com run on a two-tier system: One more affordable package with only the basic stuff at $7 per head (sports, virtual casino and horses, + the needful of agent reporting tools), and then a “premium” at $10 with all the other finer features.

Though cleanly and professionally presented, we couldn’t really find out why they’ve chosen to put a heavier $10 price on a PPH package containing most of the same tools and features that most other companies offer with their “basic” deal.

But apart from the odd pricing choices, RDG is a very good-looking PPH platform overall, with a seemingly competent software package and a quick-to-act support staff, plus a very interesting 4-week long trial deal… No deposit is required.

Deposit options? That’s a WHOLE other subject, but stick to us for our review further down below and find out the details about RDGcorp’s services. As for our grade, we’ve decided to award RDGCorp.com with a middling-to-good 68 score.

PPH REVIEW DETAILS

Price 9/15 Points

The idea is pretty simple, RDGcorp offers two standard pay per head service packages, and one more custom type, which can be modeled down to fit the requests of the agent.

The basic deal ($7 per head) features all the stuff one would expect from your run-of-the-mill PPH service: Namely, you’ll get an “automated” platform, with access to reporting tools, branding options (in the case you want to “white label” your site), 24/7 support, real-time reporting, a virtual casino, and a basic line up of action options with a basic horse betting platform.

The “Premium” package ($10 per head) consists of all of the above, plus live and in-game betting options, plus an extended menu of 1000+ sports fixtures; a LIVE casino platform appears to come alongside the premium package as well.

Promos 9/10 Points

RDGcorp’s strongest marketing asset is without a doubt their 4-week trial period, “no deposit required” entry promo. Among the pph platforms that offer a free trial, you will find anything between one and six weeks, but anything above four weeks is fairly rare.

You will have a month to try the platform out and decide whether to keep your account, adjust from free to premium (or from premium to free) before having to put down a deposit.

Two positive thumbs up for their unusual extended first-time offer!

Agent Admin 10/15 Points

Having a “demo” version of your agent software is one of the best “marketing” decisions you can ever apply to your strategy, simply because you’re making it clear to your potential buyers that #1, you have nothing to hide – so to speak -, and #2, that you feel confident enough in the capabilities of your software to put your working assets out there for the scrutiny of the market.

Sadly, RDGcorp doesn’t offer any such thing, but from the quick look of their very few “sample” pictures splattered throughout their site, we could see they featured all the basic and required reporting, line management, and action-oversight tools mandated for a proper running of any competent PPH operation.

Sportsbook 8/15 Points

It is not clear exactly which sports that you can offer your betting clients through RDGCorp – as
well as which sports are available at the two pricing tiers – but, as far as we are able to see, at the basic level, expect pro and college basketball and football, along with baseball, hockey and soccer, as a minimum.

However, there are other platforms at the $6-7 price point that RDGCorp charges basic members that also offer UFC/MMA, rugby, cricket, tennis, and golf, so, you might want to wait until you’ve fully tested their offering menu before making a long time decision. After all, that’s what the 4-week trial period is all about!

Casino 6/10 Points

RDGcorp’s casino software comes both in Virtual and LIVE game formats, though you’ll only find the latter with the $10 premium package deal.

We couldn’t find out exactly what games are offered – or by what developers – anywhere on their website with the virtual package, or the LIVE version for the same matter, but we suppose they consist of the classic line up of slots, video VP, lottery and others similar for the virtual platform, and live versions of blackjack, roulette, and baccarat for the live-dealer option.

Horses 3/5 Points

RDGCorp does offer a racebook, but you will want to contact their sales staff to find out how extensive it is.

IMPORTANT: Don’t settle for a racebook that has fewer than 60 tracks available, across North America. Given the $7 – $10 price point here, though, you should expect that basic level at a minimum.

Keep in mind that, if you have a lot of sports betting clients who like to take deep dives in horse racing, then you might want to choose a platform that offers more tracks.

Call Center 9/10 Points

One more good reference for RDGcorp is the speed and professionality of their customer support services. After clicking on their LIVE Chat window option, it only took us a few seconds before we were already in active conversation with one of their representatives. They provided us with clear and concise answers to our queries every time.

If you or your betting clients need to reach support staff with RDGCorp, they can call (877) 386-0180 around the clock. There’s also a small message box where you can drop in your questions or requests, in case you mind waiting a little more time for a response.

Payment Methods 3/5 Points

Don’t be fooled by the information displayed on their website about Bitcoin being the ONLY depositing option available with RDGcorp.

Although RDGcorp’s website clearly states that it only accepts Bitcoin as payment method, after consulting the issue with their representatives, they informed us that they also offer other cryptocurrencies like Ethereum, as well as direct money transfer options like Ria or Moneygram.

Suffice to say, it’s always best to ask the support team about the facts before you make a decision in any one direction.

Mobile Friendliness 11/15 Points

RDGCorp’s website talks about full mobile responsiveness for both their agent and customer platforms.

After testing their site on our mobile phone, we found it easy to read and use, and well adjusted to the changed aspect-ratio of the mobile setting. That alone speaks wonders for their approach to mobile immersion, as “mobile betting” now makes nearly 80% of all online action engagements.
