PerHead Wagering Bookie Software Review

Many small sportsbook owners are looking for value when choosing their first platform to host their online PPH operation, and PerHeadWagering.com is one of the more promising options for those looking to keep their costs low, while at the same time providing their players with good quality action products.

Unlike the majority of our per-head review experiences of the past, going through’ PerHeadWagering felt like a ‘soft breeze’, with clearly laid out information, including some details about the services we didn’t expect to see featured on-site, as per standard PPH site running practices, so that was a nice & pleasant surprise.

One of the top features that you get from PerHeadWagering is the customer support availability. You can reach support staff on the phone or via live chat around the clock, with availability in both English and Spanish, and get quick (and helpful) answers to your questions and concerns. Without commissions or revenue sharing, the payment model is clear and simple.

Then, there’s also the DDOS mitigation services, much needed in order to protect the server from attacks, and the company even has a hacker on the payroll, who tests the protocols to ensure that the site is safe.

If you choose PerHeadWagering, you are taking advantage of the simplicity and the value – and there is nothing wrong with that at all, in fact, it makes for a fantastically budget PPH bundle.

DrPayPerHead feels positively inclined to award this provider with a stunning 87 out of 100.

PPH REVIEW DETAILS

Price 12/15 Points

When it comes to pay per head sportsbook fees, PerHeadWagering starts at $8 per betting client and goes up from there. Now, here’s the ‘cool’ trick with their services: The fee will depend on the number of betting clients you have on the books each week.

This means that you will need to monitor betting activity by client, in order to make sure that you do not have any “dead weight” on the books – in other words, people who are not betting over time, because you are paying weekly fees for people who are not bringing you any revenue if you do so -, but incidentally, PHW has all the right tools and administrative reports (including a LIVE ticket control system) required to keep a constant eye on your players action.

Lest we forget, PerHeadWagering advertises NO REVENUE SHARE & no extra commissions charged either, which paints good any way you look at it.

Promos 6/10 Points

PerHeadWagering put us in a position we’d never been before: Namely, they don’t actually advertise any particular promos, long-term trial periods or any other first-time freebies, apart from a single mention of ‘discounts’ based on player counts. This is something that would normally push us to ‘down-grade’ them on that basis alone, however, when one considers the clarity in the exposition of all the available products and service perks, it appears as if this PPH runner didn’t feel the need to push new sign-ups through any artificial means. There’s a demo version of the basic Agent tool readily available for interested agents, and it looked fairly competent to us.

We’re left pleasantly surprised by the results. Maybe other pay per head operators should run under the same honest premises.

Agent Admin 14/15 Points

You have access to a wide variety of options when it comes to running your sportsbook. From your smartphone, you can remove clients, and you can modify options for your clients, including wagering limits. Clients sign up through a URL or a special code that they use on the phone, and PerHead Wagering staff handles the additions.

You can take clients off when you need to, and you can also get such reports as daily and weekly updates to your accounts as well as action piling up on one side or the other of specific wagers.

Their agent reporting features include:

  • Daily & Weekly Balances
  • Player Wager History
  • Agent Wager Positions
  • Agent Hold Percentage
  • Real-Time Wagers
  • Player & Action Customization Options
  • Individual Player Account Messaging

Sportsbook 14/15 Points

Like many of the other value-oriented pay per head sportsbook options, PerHeadWagering offers access to the major pro and college sports, including football, baseball, basketball, soccer and NASCAR.

You can go in and customize the games and matches you want to offer, along with setting your own lines. You can adjust each client’s account in terms of wager limits as well. There’s also Live Betting, In-Game betting, and sharp-player line management, all wrapped up around a very competent team of odds runners.

Casino 9/10 Points

PerHeadWagering’s Casino platform, or MULTIPLE casino platforms (because they have several, not just one), has been greatly improved in recent times. It now comprehends an interesting assortment of casino action, in both the Virtual & LIVE table forms (streamed versions of BJ, Baccarat, and Roulette), though in all fairness, that’s pretty normal of almost every other PPH site out there.

All this should be included in the pay per head wagering fee, as far as we could tell, but please do take it with a grain of salt. There’s a possibility the extra-tier casino formats may not all be available at the basic price.

Horses 5/5 Points

If you want to include horse racing on your PPH betting site, PerHeadWagering offers access to 120 horse tracks, spread through North America, Europe and Asia. That’s more than some of the more value-oriented sportsbook platforms and should suit the needs of all but the most exhaustive horse racing wager enthusiasts.

Call Center 10/10 Points

You can reach support representatives for PerHeadWagering 24/7 at 888-409-6299. There is also a live chat option available on the website, which you can use to reach a representative quickly. To get information about sales or support, you can email [email protected]. The round-the-clock availability of telephone and live chat support makes this one of the better options in the industry; you do not have to pay more to get phone access for your clients, as some platforms charge.

Payment Methods 3/5 Points

PerHeadWagering transaction options appear just as simple to grasp as the rest of their services, even if a little bit on the “short” end of things. They do mention Bitcoin as one of their main deposit & payout alternatives, and person-to-person money transfers as well.

We suppose Bitcoin isn’t the available option, given that most other pay per head operators run Ethereum and other popular cryptos, but we haven’t gotten a 100% confirmation on that fact quite yet. We’ll keep you posted, but in the meantime, we’ll give them the benefit of the doubt.

Mobile Friendliness 14/15 Points

Of the value options out there in PPH sportsbook management, PerHeadWagering offers some of the better design elements as far as mobile optimization goes. You can pull the book up and manage all of the features for your clients from your smartphone or a tablet; the site is friendly with both iOS and Android operating systems. On the betting client end, it is easy to pull up the site and view and place wagers.
