NFL 2022-2023 Preview for Bookies

The focus is on Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills to determine if they will live to the expectations this NFL season. They may be the top team, however there are many excellent teams that are looking to surpass them in the coming season and through the playoffs. Let’s look at teams that are expected to make it into the playoffs in 2023. So here is our NFL 2022-2023 Preview for Bookies.

NFL 2022-2023 Preview of the Teams Stats

Buffalo Bills

Yes they do, and the Bills are currently the team with the best odds of winning their way to the Super Bowl at +500, however there’s plenty of football to play. Their impressive defense will be enhanced when Von Miller joining them and CB Tre’Davious White Sr.’s return from injuries to his ACL. They will easily win the division, but the excitement begins with the playoffs, as we will see how they perform against teams more skilled. The Chiefs defeated their opponents in the last two seasons. If they were to play again, many fans would place bets on.

Kansas City Chiefs

The majority of analysts believe that the departure of Tyreek Hill could cost the Chiefs lots of offensive options. However, Patrick Holmes sees it as an opportunity to give his receivers the chance to shine. He intends to make it harder for opponents’ defenses by giving them numerous targets to throw his throws to. If he can keep up his level of offense and a few defensive plays. Their primary issue is their defense, which struggled last year.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Could Tampa Bay be so close to being on the top of the list since Tom Brady retired, then returned? Resuming his retiring or not, he hasn’t shown any sign to slow down. In addition to Donovan Smith and left tackle, Tristan Wirfs and Shaq Mason on the offensive line as well as Ryan Jensen returning at center, Tom Brady is again playing one of the best offensive teams on the field.

There are a few small gaps in the defense that are being filled by draft pictures Joe Tryon-Shoyinka as well as Logan Hall, but they don’t warrant concern.

Green Bay Packers

Aaron Rodgers will return to the Packers for the upcoming season, but it won’t be with one of his best receivers, Davante Adam, who was traded to the Raiders. They’re a formidable defense, however their offense is lacking high-quality receivers. It’s up to newcomers Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs to find top targets for Rodgers in the air game.

Los Angeles Chargers

LA has done an excellent job in strengthening their defense. The quarterback Justin Herbert continues to impress anyone who sees his game. They’re in the top division of the league. If they can steal the lead of Kansas City (who’s kept the lead for six straight years) they’ll have the experience and confidence to perform well during the postseason. Being in the most difficult division also means more injuries, so keeping fit is crucial for this team.

Los Angeles Rams

The Rams have two of the best NFL defense men in Aaron Donald and Jalen Ramsey. However, they’ve lost some key players due to free agency and their All-Pro player Andrew Whitworth has retired. They’re in the most difficult division and will not be able to claim this year’s NFC West again this year, however they will be able to secure their Wild card slot in their conference.

Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys were at the top of the NFC East last season and in comparison to their opponents they still look like the most formidable team. Dak Prescott had a great season in 2021 following an absence of much of 2020 because of injuries. The NFL rookie defensive player of the Year, Micah Parson, will be hoping to improve upon his stellar season of tackles and sacks for loss.

Cincinnati Bengals

They had a fantastic time in the last season, getting into the Super Bowl before losing to the LA Rams. They’ll keep that same level of confidence, but they’re not likely to make it as far. However, the Ravens weren’t expecting to make it as far last season. It’s going to be a competitive contest within the AFC North between them, the Baltimore Ravens, and the Cleveland Browns.

San Francisco 49ers

The Niners have been able to reach their way to the NFC Championship despite quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo not performing as well as he could. The injuries he has sustained could see him traded or even resigned to make way for Trey Lance can lead San Fran this season.

Cardinals Arizona

After being left out on the last six seasons, the team got an opportunity to experience the postseason this year. They didn’t put up a strong performance, and were beaten to the eventual Super Bowl champion Rams. They’re confident they’ll improve this year and have granted the quarterback Kyler Murray a five-year extension that is $230.5 million. The first step is to overcome DeAndre Hopkins’ suspension of six games for the start of the season following breaking their Performance Enhancing Drug policy.

Baltimore Ravens

They’re talented enough to win the division for the 3rd time within the last five years. Their defense is one of the top one in the NFL. They could have been a winner of the title last year, but Lamar Jackson missed five games as did Marlon Humphrey. Marcus Peters was out for the whole season.

Tennessee Titans

The Tennessee Titans have made the playoffs three times in the past. They’re looking to make it four consecutive times as they boast the top team in the division by far. Houston along with Jacksonville are currently in the process of rebuilding, and Indianapolis is searching for an alternative quarterback following the trade of Carson Wentz to Washington.

They’ll likely be able to win the division title, However, it’s unclear what they’ll be able to achieve when it comes to the postseason.

New England Patriots

The Patriots were victorious in 10-games in the year 2021 even though it was meant to be a year of rebuilding. Their well-balanced offense and stout defense were a perfect match. The newcomer Mac Jones will look even better than he did during his first season. They’ll keep most of their squad in good shape, which is what they’ll need to for the competitive AFC North Division.

New Orleans Saints

The Saints are a top defense, but they had a tough time last year having four quarterbacks in the season. Finding a good quarterback can assist this team to make them to the postseason this season. The team’s legendary Head Coach Sean Payton retired, giving his job to the defensive director Dennis Allen. Except for those coaching roles, their roster is mostly intact.
