Overall, we gave 5PPH.com a 63 out of 100. Of the $5 weekly pay per head sportsbook platforms, it has more flexibility in terms of payment methods, and the website is much more informative than its peers at the “value” end of the price spectrum. However, there is still a lot of missing detail with respect to the sports leagues that are offered, as well as the specific horse racing tracks that you can offer to your clients. The call center and live chat offer another positive point, but again, these are features that many other competitors offer as well.

PPH REVIEW DETAILS

Price 14/15 Points

You can’t beat the $5 per week per client that 5PPH.com offers, particularly since 5PPH.com tracks betting to ensure that agents only get charged for active bettors each week. That tracking ends up saving you a lot of time as the agent; some of 5PPH.com’s competitors in the pay per head sportsbook industry do not track but instead just charge agents for each client on their roster, even if those clients did not wager during that week. This way, you don’t have to cull your rosters each week to figure out how to get rid of the “dead weight.”

Promos 1/10 Points

At this time, there is no promotion available on 5PPH.com as far as a free trial period. This is probably the most disappointing part of this review, because so many of 5PPH.com’s competitors in the pph sportsbook platform industry offer at least two weeks’ worth of use of the full website before having to commit funds. A trial period allows for agents and bettors to check out the features; platforms that offer these trial periods generally show more confidence that their clients will enjoy working together.

Agent Admin 7/15 Points

The precise details of how agent administration will work on this price per head sportsbook platform are not present on the website. At this price point, you may find that some of the reporting is not as robust as what you would find with a platform that is higher up the pricing spectrum, but you should be able to set individual limits on each of your betting clients, and you should be able to set side props for the matches and games that you offer point spreads, moneylines and/or point totals on. You should also be able to track, in real time, action for each bettor, and you should also get daily and weekly reporting.

Sportsbook 8/15 Points

When you sign up with 5PPH.com, you have access to what the website refers to as a “robust” sportsbook. There is not much clarity as to what leagues are actually on offer, but you should expect to be able to offer action on hockey, soccer, pro and college football and basketball, tennis, golf, UFC/MMA and boxing at this price point. If you can also offer action rugby, cricket and other sports, then that’s even better.

Casino 7/10 Points

According to 5PPH.com, you can offer your pay per head sportsbook betting clients access to a wide variety of digital and mobile casino games, along with 24/7 access to live poker dealers. There is also access to at least 25 different state lotteries in their casino settings. You will want to develop a robust casino presence on your sportsbook, as the income you will pull in will help offset the pay per head fees that you will pay each week for your betting clients.

Horses 3/5 Points

In addition to horse racing, 5PPH.com also offers access to greyhound racing for its pay per head sportsbook agents to offer their betting clients. The website offers a “full range” of horse racing tracks for wagering, but you will want to ask the sales staff about which tracks are actually available as part of the conversation. At this value price point, you would expect to have access to at least 60 tracks in North America, so if more are available – and if access to the major Asian tracks is available — that would be even more of a bonus.

Call Center 9/10 Points

5PPH.com betting support is available by phone at (877) 819-4141, and the website indicates the number is available 24/7. In addition, there is 24/7 live chat available for pay per head sportsbook agents and platform support representatives. There is also a private messaging system available for betting clients, sportsbook agents and support representatives to use in lieu of relying on email for written communication. Especially at this price point, this offers communication options that are well above average for both agents and clients alike.

Payment Methods 4/5 Points

5PPH.com has a considerable amount of flexibility when it comes to possible payment methods. Like most of its competitors, 5PPH.com allows for the use of Bitcoin, as well as such wiring services as Western Union and MoneyGram. 5PPH.com goes beyond what the average pay per head sportsbook platform offers by allowing the use of PayPal, blank money orders and credit cards. You’ll want to make sure your betting clients are aware of the transaction fees associated with credit card payments, though.

Mobile Friendliness 10/15 Points

The 5PPH.com interface is easy to negotiate from a smartphone or tablet, and mobile optimization like this is a must for pph sportsbook agents. You will want to be able to run your sportsbook from a mobile device, and your betting clients will also want to have the ability to do all of their bettings and check all their accounts from their phones. The website does not show demos of agent and bettor access, but given the ease of use of the front-facing website, it seems likely that the interfaces are also mobile-friendly.
